Hello friends! I figured I would go ahead and start some beauty posts, since I love makeup and everybody loves to feel good wearing it! So I’m going to start with mascara. I don’t think that I could live without mascara honestly, I feel like it’s what pulls everything together! For me personally, I feel so blah without it. I’m also very picky about mascara (and the wands/texture/fallout) so hopefully you’ll try these out and love them too!
I often get asked if I have on fake lashes but I don’t! I’ve also never had lash extensions, I’m way too scared to get those, ha! I do put a few different things on them to attempt to help them grow and keep them full. I believe they help because I notice a difference whenever I don’t use it for awhile. It doesn’t add too much time, so it’s worth a try if you want longer lashes. Now onto all of the products that I use!
GROWTH
Black Castor Oil || Let me just tell you, this stuff is liquid gold! Plus this one is by far the cheapest and what I use most often. I only put this on at night and include it in my nighttime skin routine. I add a couple drops to my fingertips and rub it all over my lashes. This stuff lasts FOREVER!
No7 Lash Impact Serum || This serum does help but it tends to irritate my eyes sometimes so I use this one, twice a week in place of the castor oil. I have repurchased this multiple times. I add this one to my lash line.
EYELASH PRIMER
Lancome Cils Booser XL || I literally cannot say enough good things about this eyelash primer. It is AMAZING, it’s a little bit more expensive but it is hands down the best one that I have ever used and helps give me maximum length!
Loreal Voluminous Lash Primer || I would say this is the second best primer that I have used! This one smells really good, applies well and it’s AFFORDABLE. My only complaint about this primer is that it tends to go bad quicker than my Lancome Primer but it’s more affordable.
HIGH END MASCARA
Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes || This mascara I recently got as a free item and LOVED it! It is so good, I’m very picky when it comes to the mascara wants but this one is so good! It makes my lashes so dark and full.
Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara || This mascara is so good and so good! It has a really thick wand so it really gives you that fullness at the base of your lashes. This mascara is the only one out of all my choices that does seem to “flake” off a little bit by the end of the day. I feel like this is pretty normal though after a full day and workout though.
DRUG STORE MASCARA
L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara || I have been using this mascara since I started using makeup, no lie! This is the mascara I ALWAYS go to first and it makes all the difference. I love how they have it in “Blackest Black” and makes my lashes so dark. It is such a great price, I always go back to this one.
L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise || This mascara is my other ride or die mascara. Again, this mascara is very affordable and works so well. It also works very well with the primer as well (which smells SO good). I buy this mascara in waterproof as well.
