Billie Razor || Face Cleansing Brush || Tarte Foundation || Verb Energy Bars || Self Tanning Lotion + Drops || Liquid Collagen + Trim
Hello friends!! I’m sure you’ve seen products talked about all over social media and wondered, are they even good? So I decided to try some out so that you don’t have to!! I myself fall victim to being influenced (by all of the above obviously) and not everything is good but some were winners.
Just an FYI – I purchased all of these items myself and decided to tell you an honest review for all of them. It’s all my personal opinions & I have been trying all of these items for some time now to be able to really give you my thoughts.
VERB ENERGY BARS
Verb energy bars claim to have as much caffeine as an expresso and only 90 calories. Another product that is ALL over the internet & I’m sure you’re sick of seeing. But you are seeing it for good reason – these bars are so dang good and they work. Especially if you just need a little pick me up. Plus for only 90 calories – that’s not bad. These also have never left me jittery or feeling bleh afterwards – which I can appreciate. I do think the flavor/texture can take a few to get used to but I liked them. It’s almost like a chewy granola bar. My favorite flavors are the salted peanut butter and simply cocoa. Also, the vanilla latte and coconut chai are worth the try to. Here is the link for them: https://www.verbenergy.co/trial/flex (p.s. I make nothing from this link – I genuinely love these and find them so worth it!!)

BILLIE RAZOR
Oh the infamous Billie Razor. This product is ALL over the internet and I fell victim to the influence.lol. But really, I was sold. Razors that are not only delivered to you but only $9 / Month – heck yes!! So I started using it and quickly realized I didn’t have to shave any less than normal and I wasn’t a fan of how… “slimy” the blades were. Also, because of this “sliminess” it irritates the skin, IMO. But maybe that was just me. You might love it. I just didn’t feel like it was anything special – but the convenience factor and price for sure are a nice touch and could be worth it.

LIQUID COLLAGEN + TRIM
Alright, this one is going to be long so hold onto your seats ladies and/or gents. I say that Modere Liquid Collagen + Trim is both worth it and not BECAUSE for the money I don’t think it’s worth it. $159.99 is expensive for a single months worth of vitamins but it does work. Which is why I also say yes, I saw lots of new hair growth in spots that I before was very self conscious about. Also, I feel like it really did help with my joints so that is what sold me on it. I also said no because the first month I saw amazing results then it slowed to very minimal which if that’s the case I can just take normal hair, skin, nails vitamins. I think it is worth trying if you have the money to do so but I also think you can get the same results doing others.
Now onto the Trim – I’m still not sold on this. I’ve seen tons of people show amazing results but I honestly don’t think it does as much as it claims to do. I wasn’t expecting anything dramatic but to me I don’t think it’s very effective.
I also feel it’s worth mentioning the flavor of both – neither is bad and I really don’t mind it. If you try anything, just try the liquid collagen. & if you feel so inclined to try the trim, I would recommend getting the chocolate. It’s by far the best flavor I’ve had. TARTE FOUNDCEALER FOUNDATION
“Moisturizer, foundation, concealer and SPF in 1. Hydrates, medium to full coverage, glow…” sounds great. I thought this Tarte Foundcealer Foundation was worth mentioning because I’ve been using it since July now and I get SO many questions about my makeup since switching. I really do love this foundation and I feel like it’s not too overpriced (I actually got mine 2 for 1 through QVC, they always have the BEST sales on beauty). Anywhooo, this foundation really stays in place, very buildable and makes your skin look SO smooth. It really is hydrating as mentioned too. It feels very lightweight but is full coverage. The only reason I say, it depends if it’s worth it is because, I feel like everyone is very specific on foundation and you know what you like. I have very normal to dry skin so for me, I had no issues. But if you are more oily – I could possibly see you not enjoying this. Depending on your skin type and what you like but overall I will definitely be purchasing more. P.S. I just ran out of my first bottle, which means it lasted for almost 3 months. Pretty good IMO since I do my makeup almost everyday.

“Spinning motion, combined with the silky soft bristles sweep through pores to safely dislodge dirt, dead skin cells and make up residue”… YES PLEASE. You NEED this face cleaning brush in your life!! No need to worry about it being too rough on your skin either since this brand has 3 (soon to be 4) different brush heads. There is a daily care, exfoliating, sensitive care and soon a silicone brush head. I use the daily care brush head and have had no issues since using this brush, which I started back in March. I wanted to really test it out before mentioning it and it is phenominal and I don’t like to not use it. This facial brush leaves your face feeling SO clean and smooth. ISLE OF PARADISE BODY BUTTER & DROPS
I purchased this Isle of Paradise bundle during a sale and thought I would LOVE it. The body butter is supposed to be hydrating with a slight glow + add the drops for a darker tan. NO. The body butter smells good but doesn’t apply well or really sink into your skin and when you add the drops in, it tended to leave a sticky texture behind. After all of this, I then felt like you got very minimal color from this. If you want a VERY natural “glow” – you might like this but I still feel like there are way better options out there, IMO.
