Loved doing this last month for my January 2024 Book Round Up so keeping it going! Here is a quick look at all the books that I read in 2024 and my thoughts!
I’m going to start sharing a monthly round up of what I read that month so I can keep track of books, how I liked them, how many I read, etc & so you guys can have some book recommendations 🙂 Side note here, I mainly read thrillers so if that’s not your style then you might not care to read more or come back for future posts!haha. Here is a very quick rundown of each book I read and what I rated them!
LIKED – This book was very good and kept me interested. Some parts were a bit repetitive but overall a good read. Any book that begins with a girl in the shed can’t be bad!
LIKED – I actually listed to this one on Audible so I listened in about two days! It was very interesting but I will tell you I guessed what happened from the beginning. So very predicable but still overall a good book!
Indifferent– I read Gregg Olsen’s book If You Tell last month and LOVED it – so I tried this one and it just was not as interesting. Maybe this is a better “read” than listening to it on audible but overall I didn’t hate or love it. It was interesting but also a tad boring.
LIKED – This has been my favorite book so far this month! I did guess what would happen very early but there were still twists that I didn’t expect. It was very easy to follow and was interesting! I didn’t put my rating as “Love” it but thought it was a VERY good book.
LIKED – (AUDIBLE) I liked this read BUT it also was kind of silly. I don’t want to say too much without giving it away but parts just seem like there is no way it would happen like that. But overall still a good book and I couldn’t wait to finish to see what happened next. Also, I thought the ending was kind of open ended and not very good.
LOVED – I love anything by Frieda honestly. This was a bit different but also had her normal twists & turns but the prologue made the book! I read this in like two days because I couldn’t wait to see what came next.
LIKED – (AUDIBLE) – This was a GREAT book!! Honestly, I could never guess what was going to happen next & kept me very on the edge listening. The ended was good also!
LIKED – This book was pretty good but a little bit slow honestly. I didn’t figure it out until the end and the twists and turns were interesting.
INDIFFERENT – A bit indifferent about this book, never read anything like it. But the second half was slow + you have to keep up with different people over a span of two years and it’s not all in order. But it was interesting also so very indifferent.
